When they were seven years old, twins Wendy and Sully got whisked away on a magical adventure to Candyland to save the Candy Kingdom from evil rule that would corrupt it's sugary goodness. They succeeded, were crowned Prince and Princess of the Candy Castle, and were sent home. They never recovered.
Twenty years later, they both deal with the trauma of this experience in different ways. Wendy wishes desperately to go back- it was the most incredible experience of her life, and nothing since has topped it. She fears she'll never find joy like that again. Sully though, had nightmares for years. The adventure included danger and horrors he never wants to relive, and lives every day to forget.
Wendy is high spirited and high energy. She's athletic and enjoys jogging, biking, skating, parkour, and many extreme danger sports. She partakes in recreational drugs on weekends, but so far, no drugs or danger have topped the high of that adventure.
Sully likes photography and poetry. He's gloomy and often unpleasant. He drinks far, far too much and he HATES sugar.
Both have candy themed powers. They can manifest weapons of sugar that are powerful, if short lived. They do not need to be AROUND sugar or candy to create weapons, but proximity DOES strengthen them. Similarly, their powers aren't affected by their proximity to EACH OTHER, but in the case of a fight, their mental fortitude IS.
If they have one thing in common it's mutual love for a heavy metal band called Pipe.
