Jerin Highvale

Jerin originally hails from a dimension called Zeronia, a dimension so steeped in raw magic energy that it flows through the very veins of its people, and Jerin is no exception.

Jerin has mastered many schools of magic, including Cosmic magic, one of the more potent schools. He has also spent his long life learning various forms of martial arts and weapon fighting, often mixing them all together to form a unique style all his own. However, Jerin has a weakness to demonic and necromatic magic, as they can corrupt the raw mana in his blood.

Though details are scarce, as many people believe Zeronia to be little more than a fairy tale, a great disaster took place many centuries ago, leaving the realm shattered and floating in an endless abyss. Since that day, Jerin has made it his life’s mission to seek out, collect, and if he can, destroy as many powerful, and dangerous magic artifacts as he can. Those he can’t destroy he takes back to the remains of his home to keep away from people that could get hurt, or hurt others (or both). This has caused him to cross paths with all manner of powerful beings, from other sorcerers, to demons, to even gods. Somehow, Jerin has managed to walk away from every encounter.

Though it may look as though he is blind in his right eye, he actually had the eye enchanted to not only restore his vision, but he can also very easily see through all but the most powerful of illusions.

He has a cold exterior, and is often very quick to anger. He keeps to himself and very rarely allows others to get close to him, though he has made a few friends over the years. He’s very impatient with others and sometimes comes off like he thinks he’s better than everyone. Oddly, he’s surprisingly calm and patient with children. Despite this, he’ll still help those who have found themselves in danger from a magic artifact.

He is always seeking out ways to increase his vast arsenal of spells or grow in strength. He seems to be preparing for something, but he won’t tell anyone what that is.

The scar on his face is a touchy subject, bringing it up is a sure-fire way to make him very angry, very quickly.
