Victim. Bully. Killer. Grim Reaper. Girlfailure. Brat. All these words describe the entity that is Mitsuko Toyama.

The soul of a young teenage girl who met a traumatic end, Mitsu is a psychopomp entity known as a “Reaper” and mainly resides in a purgatory-esque realm. One of rare examples of a Reaper maintaining her humanity - her thanatophobia keeps her grounded and somewhat sane. A rebellious soul at heart, Mitsu often finds herself interacting with the living world more than she should as a being of the dead. As reclusive and depressive as she was in life, she missed living more.

In addition to helping lost souls move onto their next life in the reincarnation cycle, she helps maintain amicable relationships between human souls and other Reapers (typically by intimidating Reapers into backing off).

Due to having mediumship powers since birth (unknown to her knowledge), Mitsu retained said abilities and is able to be a medium for lost spirits to try and communicate with their living loved ones via dreams. With the help of another medium on the other side, Mitsu can cross the other side to lead lost souls back home but isn’t able to interact with any physical object. To combat this, Mitsu created a cat familiar (Mikko) from her right pinky to send down and watch over the living world. She can possess the cat at any time.
