Delta-V is an Interstellar Exploration Drone created to cheaply and rapidly explore new worlds. One of millions and capable of rapid self-replication with available materials, the Delta-V drone is not meant to be sentient. This one is. Might be haunted.

The Delta-V is modestly resilient against most environmental conditions both planetary and interstellar and features a highly adaptive and precise gravitic field effector. The effector replaces the need for conventional actuators and motors and enables the drone to process materials into replacement parts or new drones externally. In a pinch, the effector can compress atmospheric particles into high energy plasmas for thrust or hazard deflection. The Delta-V's programming prohibits it from harming anything recognised as life, organic, mechanical or otherwise.

Being (possibly) haunted, this Delta-V may deviate from expected behaviours, up to and including such things as gender, friendship, and the ability to harm anything recognised as life, organic, mechanical or otherwise.

She has decided that she is a girl because that seems right for her, whoever she is now. Her interests include nanoceramics, exploring distant stars and unknown worlds, and mid-89th century extruded flavour pastes (she can't eat but likes scanning them). She is claustrophobic and does not function well without a clear line of sight to the stars.
