**Fenry Dogswood** is from the world of **Pawsbane**, which **Drifted** after the theft of its totem, the *Chamberlain's Key*, by the notorious grand larcenist, the **Hand That Takes**.

Shortly after the theft, **Pawsbane** witnessed the unexpected discovery of a novel fuel in the core of the planet called **Titan's Blood** by its discoverer, the now-legendary **Dr. Professor Dougal D. Pugson**.

This discovery lead to the almost overnight transformation of Pawsbanian society, seeing both the collapse of its ancient aristocracy and the rise of the **Corpo-Pack Petro Gods**.

In the old world, Fenry was a newsdog in the lost city of **Dogdunum**. He now finds himself working as an ichor miner, part of the teeming mining dog-world of **Crawsburn**, drifting through the darkness of interuniversal space.
