Previously competed in the k-pop idol survival show "Galaxy Stage Season 2" at age 20 and ranked #10th, failing to make the winning debut team. Before that, he competed in the controversial idol survival show "Dear My Boys" at age 16 and ranked #18th, having been eliminated in the second to last round.
