Ah you threw me for a loop on that first page and I loved that so much. I thought were were going to get attack by slime monster in the sewer but Lily only wants her magazine. I had fun reading the cover of that mag btw. My nitpick is that the tunnel could've been darker IMO in the first three panels just so it feels more dark and scary before Lily reveals herself.

Second page is so ominous and I can only guess the story continues to the Inaugural! I'll surely be keeping tabs on her next adventures. I love Evelyn's carefree personality and she seems to have seen her own fair share of misadventures. Wendy looks absolutely adorable as well.

Love what you did with these grayscales. Gives a proper gloom to the setting and the use of white really pops. I will say I think you can punch up your use of spot blacks though. You have such a heavy shadow over Wendy's eyes, it'd be cool to see that lighting effect throughout panel to panel so its consistent.

There's definitely plenty of context and info that is alluded to in this comic, but never fully explained. Like the book, or why Evelyn and co are even down in the sewers This is the introduction of these characters to me, but I found myself learning more about them through the character profile than anything in the comic itself.

Still its clear you're trying to build something big here. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what it is!

Very lovely intro for Evelyn! It's a nice start to her adventure here in junction and on oculama!
Your pacing is really nice with this, short and sweet and ready to get into the thick of it for what battles have to offer. If I may suggest though, Possibly pushing the line thickness between your backgrounds and your foregrounds/Characters may help with focal point and anchor in what is the main subject of each panel.
Otherwise, I am looking forward what kind of adventure Evelyn gets into next and how all of these favors pay off. Can't wait for the next comic!
