Absolute FANTASTICAL display of inks, Wgni!! i absolutely adored how the plot & ending sets up the framing for the tourney as a whole, the series of events that lead into Freya being essentially kicked into the Chasm and having the events of the tournament be her journey down-ward? Fucking BIG BRAINED SHIT !! I hope to see more, the line weights are absolutely amazing as well, i feel as if this is the PERFECT atmosphere your spot-blacking could capture its awesome! There's so much character built into these two scientists in the peak of their fieldwork and i feel as if you are taking such advantage of this, i love their interactions!

very fun read!
Your black and white work is excellent, and I enjoyed the overall story set up. Fun creature designs and imaginative and clever environment building, enjoyed the dialog between the two as well.
Nice work!

WGNI - Beyond impressed with the flavor you've imparted to the chasm for this round one - while we've all explored the space in this opening round, you've done the best job by far making it feel worth exploring, not just for the secrets, but for the more commonplace things herein.
I love the designs for both the creatures and mechanisms that fill this part of the chasm - the unun designs are super-cool; a great mix of cute and unnerving, and the mechanisms beg a lot of questions that don't need answering for this particular comic, but make me excited to see more of your explorations of the chasm.
I'm also impressed by how naturally the dialogue between Freya and Indy unfolds, not just in how natural it sounds, but in how the evolution of their mutual misunderstanding of where the other stands on disrupting the "ecosystem" below unfolds - it's an impressively convincing gradual realization on both of their parts just how at odds they are, and it gives this comic a magnificent narrative core, and much of its heart.
That this misunderstanding also leads to organically to the comic's context for Freya going further below is another strngth, imho.
Nice work with the stark black and whites here - your level of detail never treads into overwhelming, but you make the setting feel full of life nonetheless. Your panels parce with an outstanding amount of clarity and smoothness, which is something that is not always easy to accomplish, especially with more alien environments.

WGNI, Your stark black and whites really make this comic a standout in how crisp and clean it looks. Also you made the bowels of this infinity chasm pretty compelling to look at. Great angles and environment set ups as these two traversed down. The subsequent scuffle and unknown plummeting end of our intrepid protagonist is a great hook to leave us with in anticipation of the next round. Can't wait to see more!
