First off this looks like a SCRUMPTIOUS comfort dish and I'm absolutely gonna try following this recipe at some point - tots seem like they'd make terrific leftovers in this context, soaking up all the flavor from the other components.

As a recipe, this parses nicely; not exactly a compact delivery for a recipe, but the comic form provides a lot of its own strengths! You do a great job providing the information needed in a sensible order, and I love the asides indicating where the cooker in question can get fancy free with the recipe. It's also really nice to have the author character adding ingredients in series - illustrative enough to be instructive without distracting from the process.

(I ADORE the sudden interjection before the tots section - a great segue into the starch component :)

I had a slight hiccup parsing the comic at page 8 - I'm guessing the pre-heated panel is meant to be read before the panel to the left with the cooking time, but the layout doesn't quite guide the eye in the arc needed to pull the reader's focus in that direction in lieu of defaulting to reading that row of panels left to right (this is a VERY minor critique, but wanted to float it nonetheless).

Your style does a nice job making the dish look mouth-watering; not always easy to do in black and white, so lots of props there. I also appreciate the creativity of using the dish to lay out the title page; It's a really appealing opening to the comic, and it's bolstered by the smaller details like the tablecloth backdrop and cooking pan framing.

I also love the enthusiasm for the dish that you get across in the comic; I get a strong sense of excitement for the dish from the author avatar and their energy. It feels genuine and gets me all the more interested in trying out this dish myself!

This is such a cool addition to the site overall, and a great utility comic; I could totally see myself buying a book of recipes in this style.

YO THIS IS A BANGER
This comic is so personal and fun, and feels so easy to learn. The way it introduces substitutes as it goes, the budgetary concerns, the way the food is always drawn makes the whole process look like a joy. It makes me want to cook something right now, and especially makes the dish itself a must next grocery trip. If there's any criticism, there's a couple misspellings and the substitution of cheese panel is a little awkwardly placed for the disclaimer. But overall, this is a comic that's perfectly in tune with its subject: the joy of cooking and its beautiful messiness. Amazing job.

This comic feels so cozy, it's pretty straight-forward and informational but you give it so much charm and personality in the delivery, I really enjoyed it. The artwork really melds well to support the recipe, it's very clear and easy to read as informative illustration, with a hand-made quality between the linework and the screentones that makes it feel that bit more personal. I love that one panel of the meat sizzling in the pan, it's a nice cozy moment to breathe in between the text. Also I just saw the tiny smile on that one tater tot that's adorable omg. Also also side note by coincidence I had this for the first time a few weeks ago, you're so right it's really good. All around this was a really enjoyable read, I'm glad you posted this here!
