“Hohoho~ Let it snow!! . . . And how’s thaaat for an introduction!? Hehehe!”

Backstory

Bodo doesn’t remember when he started being able to use his powers. However, he does remember when he found out it was something special.

One day when he was still young, Bodo was outside playing in the snowy mountains alone, and one of his snow golems ran out of control. After running for his life, Bodo found himself in a cold blizzard, lost and all alone. . . Until a certain ’hero’ came to save him. Taking refuge in a cave with this unknown person, Bodo was gifted with many new knowledge about his own ability - including the fact that, according to his savior, it was powers “given to him to make people happy”.

By the time the adults of his village found him, Bodo’s mystery savior had mysteriously disappeared. As Bodo grew up, he slowly began to forget this incident, starting to believe it was all just a dream. That was, until one day, he saw his ‘hero’ on an ad on television. . . On Christmas Day!!

And from that day, Bodo gained a new goal in life. Bodo now spends his free time doing the best he can to make people happy, save children and give them gifts, just like his alleged hero, Sir Mr. Santa Clause himself! And today, he sets off to another new adventure again. . .

. . . Just after, he gets his own good, long Christmas break. Even heroes need their loooong time-off!

Powers

Snowmance: Can summon snow and make snow golems, which follows his command.

PROS

Snow

+Can summon snow anywhere, anytime, any amount.

Golems

+Can make snow golems of any size and shape, without limit of amount.
He can also give it extra parts for different tasks (ex. stick hands to hold things).
+The golem needs a ‘core’ to move. It can be placed anywhere and anything is usable, as long as it’s the right size (a bigger core for bigger golems).
+Golems can do any task, as long as it is simple and within its capabilities.

CONS

Snow

-Tires out if he summons too much snow in a short period of time.
-The snow is just normal, ordinary snow. It will melt depending on the temperature, making his abilities practically useless during the summers.
-Like normal snow, the snow will leave a little puddle after it melts. Extra cleaning chores!

Golems

-Needs to shape the snow to make a golem; a little snowball monster can be made in a few seconds, but a bigger, stronger golem will take more time and effort.
-Bodo himself also needs to melt or take out the core of the golem to get rid of them. He can’t just command them to disappear.
-Golems will instantly melt if the core is taken out or off. Bodo tends to put it outside the golem for safety, so it tends to be fairly easy to knock off.
-Golems can only do one simple task it was born to do. Bodo cannot give it new tasks in between, so in that sense, even he cannot fully control it.

Personality

Bodo is an easy-going but benevolent individual. He rarely gets angry nor overly excited, but seems to be happy when others are as well. He tries his best in everything and won’t throw out a job midway, even if they end up being beyond his actual capacities.

However, not all attempts have good results. At core, Bodo is a lazy bum. This laziness combined with his care-free attitude makes Bodo extremely ditzy and sloppy. He often makes simple mistakes, just to go along with it, not bothering to fix it unless it is absolutely needed. He does truly care for people, but at the same time, he lacks the ability to notice small social queues and often comes off as insensitive.

Like Santa Clause, he does not want the full spotlight on himself, and would rather help people from the shadows. He knows his worth and believes other people deserve the spotlight. . . Aaaand plus, if he does things secretly, he can do them at his own slow pace!

The Test: Backstory

At a time when Bodo was younger. . .

Bodo’s parents were law-abiding, moral people. Once they realized their son was ‘different’, they also came to the chilling realization that, oh, this meant this air-headed, giddy child had the power to cause even MORE trouble unintentionally.

And so, Bodo’s parents made the decision to send their only son to the big city, where he could attend a school to learn how to control his powers;; Polaris Heroic Academy. And now, Bodo spends his schooldays amongst like-minded individuals, training to be the next superhero. . .

. . . Or not! Well, he does have SOME time until graduation. So, why not take it easy for now??? - Said Bodo exactly one year ago, and the year before that. . . And so on, so on. Bodo spends his school days very, very chill - doing the bare minimum to pass and being quiet enough not to be noticed, Bodo is just another ‘normal’ kid in the school, hidden in the background of someone else’s story.

Since, why would the spotlight go on a lazy bum like him in a school filled with so many talented, great individuals?
