Has been humbled.

Ten thousand years she failed to destroy what she had created. Her children thought her vanquished. She was not. She is now stuck in a miserable, aging, human body that she stole from motel owner Tamberly De La Cruz after mixing with her coffee.

She hates it. She hates humans, she hates being human, she hates the world humans have built. She also hates everything else since the dinosaurs, but humans are the worst. She does spare slight fondnesses for cigarettes, telenovelas and deep dish pizza, but everything else can drown. She's generally very grumpy and curmudgeonly, with a sarcastic streak a mile wide, though her true, ancient dignity sometimes shines through.

She cannot turn back into her true form, fortunately for everyone, but she does still have some slight powers at her disposal. She can summon snakes of saltwater or drown with a touch, and does not need to breathe. Besides that, she is as frail and rickety as a 55 year old woman who has smoked a pack of cigarettes a day for decades.
