Oculama

Temptation (or "Tempy," as it likes to be called) is the result of an aborted ritual - an attempt by a now defunct cult to summon an incarnation of hedonism into the world.

The ritual failed due to sabotage, and instead of hatching, the egg of the hedonist avatar gained its own sapience. Now it wanders the world, using its power of minor desires to manifest trinkets and outcomes for those it encounters. Sometimes the gifts of Temptation come with no strings attached - sometimes they come with an equal measure of bad fortune; it all depends on which would be funniest at the time.

Temptation might still hatch one day, but whether it will, and who it will hatch into, remains to be seen.

Temptation cannot vocalize, but understands all languages, and has a minor form of telepathy that allows it to understand the wants of those around it. Temptation also has a weak form of telekinesis, that sometimes manifest as thin arms shaped out of willpower.

A Brief Overview of Temptation's Adventures on Junction:

- Temptation's first appearance was crossing paths with Kynsii, an elite feline winter soldier. Temptation kindly offered Kynsii food but the goodwill gesture was met with violent reprisal.

- Following this, temptation then made a minor appearance at the Big Wizard's Holiday Shindig, where it either took part in a gift exchange or wiped itself out trying to protect the party from Krampus and the Christmas Cat (possibly both - it was a wild night!)

- Temptation later fell into the hands of a small-time Junction gangster, who used the egg's ability to generate coveted objects in order to control the locals and have them do his dirty work. The gangster later perished in a confrontation with interdimensional hero Lu, when a gun manifested by Temptation backfired, killing him.

- During the following Holiday season, Temptation took advantage of a heist on Santa's workshop to distribute its own gifts to those interested.

- Temptation was part of the eventful Oculama road trip in 2024, crossing paths with other colorful Junction residents, getting kidnapped by a demigod, and enjoying a lovely breakfast at a roadside diner with fellow Road Trip survivors Beach Body and Jax Badluck.
