Rivana

I enjoyed these immensely!

Marche - Your style looks so colorful and dynamic. I just can't get enough of it. It's almost like watching an animated TV show. Great work and congrats on the win!

Wolke - The simplicity of your entry actually works for me. I did want more but that one gag gave me a chuckle. What clever use of the vertical scroll comic that fits perfectly with the theme!

MARSCHETOWER- New Igna banner art and win/lose poses? A full color romp and adventure? Talk about taking on round 2 with a flurry! While Round 1 was no slouch by way of writing and quality, you seem to have really found your stride with round 2. There seems to be a cohesive flow to the paneling of your long scroll page-to say nothing of how seamlessly your current opponent enters the scene while STILL juggling your round 1 encounter. I will admit that's not only uncommon but pretty ambitious when you consider the typical 1v1 formula of these tournaments. I think from a storytelling standpoint you leaned (cleverly!) into ensuring you had a character Inga could talk WITH as opposed to just TO had it simply been Temptation on stage. Inga has been such a treat to watch in this tournament. Can't wait for more.

WOLKE- I'll admit, I was looking forward to seeing what you had in store for this round and how you would change it up from the first. The gag had a long windup and elicited a good chuckle on the way down, but I kind of wanted more? I don't know if that's due in part to the fact that we know you have some pretty good writing chops and the fantastical route you take to storytelling is intriguing. I gotta figure with the unusually long deadline for this tourney you'd be stretching those muscles, but I could be utterly off base.

@Marche these panels look sosososo good! Your colors are terrific and add so much life to the characters vice your r1 for this tournament, which already had a lot of vibrance to it, even in black and white! The light effects on Inga, both the hair and the swirls, and the lava are especially gorgeous, with the first panel being my favorite for how cool (eheh) the light off of Inga's hair looks.

I appreciate the comic jumping right into a showcase of what Temptation does. The whiplash from Selby and Inga's delight with the gifts to being on the receiving end of sudden physical comedy is great. I also love that you went with the three-eyed temptation look. Temptation's many eyes are something I haven't really had the opportunity to play around with much, and it was great to see them make an appearance, then see them all go twirly as Inga takes out some frustration on the poor lil' egg.

On a few more minor notes, I really dig the expressions you drew for Inga and Selby, from the more subdued, but still very engaging expressions of curiosity and irritation on the first panel, to the more exaggerated reactions to Temptation's powers. Also GREAT use of the chasm environment here, both for showing off the lighting elements, and to introduce hazards to the OCs.

APPWPWPWOOWOWOWOW THESE COLORS ARE SIMPLE GAURRGEOUSSS YEASS !!!! I absolutelyh love what you were able to submit and i am so glad that you got to finish off a powerful one-pager with this much polish!! You're a real titan with the colors, if there was a whole comic in this style, I'd have the RSS feed lined up to my Email awaiting a physical version ASAP!!! The comic looks so much more balanced with the color, all the elements really begin working together! I am especially happy since the new, wider gutters in between panels make everything look so much cleaner and don't cramp the page, undeniably helped by the usage of color to help visual clarity!

This is just a solid chunk of comic, its hard to come up with more words to say because it feels like every bit just works together very well! Even having a Tag-Along Character like Selby showing up (tag-along's being one of the elements of a developing oct story that people tend to struggle with the hardest) helps with the interaction between temptation and Inga! Their dynamic is not only fun and enhances the story with temptation but actually works really well with Temptation's deal, I am glad you got to submit this! Thank you and here's to many more!!

oh i see, it gets red because they are approaching the core !

The scrolling format of most comics I am admittedly not a fan of, however thanks to one running gag this comic makes up for that by utilizing the format to enhance the comedy! Thank goodness for that, as Temptation falling alll the way down the screen was something that i really did not think you would commit to, but that one little THONK makes my middle finger's journey aross the scroll wheel allll the more worth it!
