I really love the art in the comic, Ledgem you've absolutely knocked it out of the park and beyond with this one, a solid double home run for sure. The art is spectacular (As always) and the writing is funny, And I've certainly never been terrified of something called "Liquid Bees" But you can absolutely bet that I am now. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this comic and I am absolutely excited to see everything that you do with this character and anything that is related to them. Keep up the absolutely awesome work Ledgem. (Reaching the word Minimum)

A short little vignette that was very enjoyable! This comic does a very good job of giving us a sense of Elly's character- the fan favourite trope of deranged psychopath inventor, perfect for Oculama! Having the focus on chemistry/potions is a good move as it feels just restrictive enough to be a fun addition to every situation without feeling like an fix-all ace up her (many) sleeves, while also allowing just about anything you can think of in a comic, as long as its drinkable/splashable.

The comic is in essence comprised of three three-panel sequences (I think Scott McCloud would defined them as 'moment to moment' as they cover specific movements in a single unbroken scene). Pay close attention to your first one because I think this is definitely your most successful! The shift in energy from panel one Elly casually hanging out at her desk to SLAMMING her hands down, practically jumping off her seat to examine her potion is really effective and fun to read (bonus points for Geepy's mouthful of food acting as a time reference too). Your second trio is quite good too, but I think more could be done to communicate the s-t-i-l-l-n-e-s-s of the potion stuck to the base of the glass. Suggestions could be keeping the waterline in the flask completely flat rather than starting to drip and maybe having two panels of holding out and one panel of shaking rather than the alternative you have (though I will say that the transition of Elly shaking the flask first slowly, then furiously, is very good too, so its a hard choice on what to prioritise if it HAD to be one). Finally the last trio I think has the shakiest sense of timing. Someone melting into bees feels like something that should be very fast and chaotic, but the comic really takes its time having it play out, and having panel one be the other character just kind of awkwardly hanging out with a pile of potion goop on their head feels like it could be pushed to show a bit more energy, like maybe having the character storm out of the building towards Elly, dripping in potion goo before dissolving into bees mid-stride? I will say though, that the mini triage of Elly in the corner watching the chaos is really well done, and also provides the real meat of her character for the reader, so good job!

Textured backgrounds are a good way to make a single moment stand out against the others and feel more striking/loud/frightening/intense/whatever, but here every single one of your panels is textured, with an extra factor of colour added to try and create that intensity axis. It might pay to be more sparing with it in future so the times you DO notice it, it really pops!

The request for comments to continue the story is a really cute addition, though I can't for the life of me work out how it would work properly in Oculama's format. Was this intended for somewhere else like twitter or discord? If so, disregard this point!

All in all, a really nice looking comic and a really exciting character, fellow bug appreciator! Excited to see more of Elly's crimes against God and man.

Rivana

Adorably twisted and really fun character! Elly Cure is easily one of the characters I'd love to see in combat and OCTs. Her potions offer a lot of possibilities and I love the chaos that will predictably/unpredictably ensue.

I actually love the rough edges in your art. I think it brings it character and your style is absolutely perfect for it. There really wasn't any need for dialogue either but I got a good grasp of Elly's personality all the same. Love the details and chaotic energy surrounding her and it even reflects on the lab table. Geepy is also cute! Is Pan Sea the unwitting victim of liquid bees? I wonder what would happen if Elly did end up ingesting it. Did she know that would be the end result?

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this comic..albeit short, but that's only because I want to see more of Elly!

Piñata

Aww yiss, Elly comic! You start off great with something of a Saturday morning funny papers format with her at the lab station. For what little we see, there's plenty of personality here- I especially like the lil' grub pet!

I think its neat you're trying something new with this 'choose your own adventure' question to the readers on what potion Elly made on page 1. Definitely something I haven't seen before and incentivizes comments. Have we cracked the code??

I'll admit I wasn't so much a fan of your backgrounds and environments going forward. Not because they looked bad, but because I wasn't really sure what I was looking at. I couldn't quite orient where Elly was. A spaceship? A bridge? You went ham on utilizing alotta neat patterns and textures for the BG as well but they weren't consistent, so I couldn't quite suss out if their location was changing, or if it was attributed to the action going on? Just some things to think about going forward!

Still all in all the gag was cute, even if the poor passer by doesn't seem to think so!

A very cute two-pager. The Liquid Bees gag is an amusing concept and I thought the demonstration of it was pretty great. I like how this was mostly a silent comic but we get a very solid sense of Elly Cure's character through it. I like your ink work in this, the brush you're using has a nice grain on it and I especially feel that when you look at the black bubbling liquids, definitely gives it a much stronger feel than a clean brush would in that case. I'm curious to see how she interacts with others, if these comics will all be silent or if we'll hear some dialogue later on. Either way, great first comic.

CornOfTheBreads

I have to say this comics just sheer weirdness is fun and a delight to see though at times feels a little cluttered but overall I feel that lends to the chaotic energy that this just exudes. I do enjoy the level of grung that has gone into the character to make them both feel appealing but in a wacky gross way really reminding me of a lot of 80s toy brand sortah like garbage pale kids or my pet monster appealing but gross. I think for my money I cant really ask for more of this comic, I saw some small things like some little bits that werent colored but nothing that was a real deal breaker, I think the only thing I am left confused is Im not sure what the setting of the background is supposed to be and is a bit confusing.
