This is an ABSOLUTE treasure trove of styles and illustration. First off, the Far Side styling? Love it, love it, LOVE IT (the cow is so so important...); it manages to make a pocket of truly deep surreality in an already reality-bending script. You've done a commendable job keeping all the characters recognizable through the shifting styles as well. Really very few notes about the illustrations themselves. Jack and Ara are so delightfully funny both in what they do and how they look in every style explored. The only thing I can think of would be to use the one-panel paging *slightly* more sparingly, as I feel the repeated use can take away from the tremendous impact/ wham!-factor they have.

Where this comic runs ground a bit for me is the story flow, and understanding how and why that flow is taking me from place to place. I understand jumping into the book well enough, but once we reach that part of the story, I have to confess myself utterly lost as to the timeline of events, how each character is affecting the genre shift/ order of events/ meta-meddling that make up the load-bearing columns of this story. Acknowledging that much of this is laid out in specific character bios, piecing it together is still a bit more homework than I'd hope to hack through. All that said, I think the *direction* of the story, and the ultimately low-stakes scheme Jack and Ara are running, means that the comic can get away (to a degree) with the specific whys and hows of what's happening being a bit opaque.

One thing I appreciate about this comic regardless is how appropriate the chaos of it all feels given the collection of meta and format-breaking characters it holds. It feels like a sort of fictional containment breach with all the wacky fun that entails. Big props for going big with this one conceptually, and playing with the medium (and a cast of SIX OCS!!!) without losing any of what make your own OCs strong and enjoyable characters. I also have to give credit for writing each of your opponent OCs in a way that both feels very true to how they come across in their bios/ comics so far, and slot perfectly into the sort of hijinks-heavy story you're weaving.

What an inspired comic. The 4th wall breaking comic multiverse style was delightful, and y'all expertly maneuvered through the different styles and made them feel very authentic - the standout one to me being the grayscale shojo manga pages, took me right back to 2003 there lol. This schizophrenic style is also a boon to work splitting, so the differences in style from page to page are not jarring. If I had any critique, I think the Gary Larson single frames went on maybe a page too long, it sorta halted the pacing in the middle there, but that's hardly a quibble. Really great stuff here.

It's time for Ara Ura's favourite ice cream topping (cherry bomb). Hot damn the style change! COW TOOLS??????? MULTIPLE STYLE CHANGES!!!!!!! Oh fuck yeah spot blacks big shadows and colouring style change too. GHFDUHK Y'ALL EVEN CHANGED TO THE MANGA EXPOSITION STYLE. HGDFUJHISHUHI THAT WAS THE PLAN THIS WHOLE TIME. Aaaahhhh I loved this, a joy to read and look at the whole way through. Wonderful love letter to comics and the marriage of text and image in general. And impressive that y'all fit all 6 characters into the plot. They may be banned from the diner but not from my heart, I love these goons.

This a spectacular tour de force on not only giving your readers a history lesson on some well known and classic comics, but a fun foray into various styles. It's not easy to make that make narrative sense, but also make it feel in character and you two make it look effortless. It was so much fun to Leo DiCaprio meme point to the screen and "I know that!" and see how the characters in question behaved or were influenced by say, sandman, Far Side, or what have you. It's no easy thing to emulate an entirely other look but I cannot say enough how transformative this was page to page.
I certainly look forward to seeing how you two keep this momentum going as we work or way to the next round. With you two as the stand out pair for this threeway, all you really have to top is yourselves, but after this comic, even that sounds like a tall order. Best of luck!

You guys really knocked it out of the park with this one. This one was just a blast to read and so much fun! Honestly, it also felt like you guys had a lot of fun making this. The story was simple but a lot of great energy! The references and playing with genre really shined through here in this battle. Ruby's reaction to all the shenanigans at the end was just perfect. You guys made good use of your opponents and everyone had some spotlight.

Honestly you guys make a great duo, your writing and art styles really mesh well together. I honestly dont have much of critique for this one Well done, I can't wait to see what ya'll do next round!!!!

Footini/Shen - This comic is an absolute blast! It's overflowing with pure joy and creativity. I can't help but be in awe of the incredible range of styles you both showcased throughout the pages. I don't think I've seen this from either of you before and what a creative way to really showcase Ara Ura and King Jack's toony hijinks. They are all really good but the anime/manga style is my favorite. Everyone is so dang pretty!! The last two pages had me chuckling out loud for real.

You both have truly outdone yourselves in this comic! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the next round. Keep up the amazing work!

A lovely Comic with some amazing style and art changes that are a true marvel to see! I especially, absolutely love the the 4th wall meta breaking you used in this one! the comedy for these two has been on point from the jump and this comic is no exception! Gawd I cannot get over how well you did making each page a nod to old newspaper funnies, manga and comic styles of olde! On top of that you were able to utilize everyone of your opponent's characters to the fullest for a very well crafted story of these two gems absolutely beating all contenders! you two are on a roll and I cannot wait to see how crazy the next comic is!

This was a very cute comic and a real treat to read. I was a tremendous fan of the decision to go stylistically all over the place, in sort of a way to mirror your opponents and also play with the comic "format" for the way the comic is structured. The story was very cute and I ended up noticing your nice color choices. You both engaged in this in a great way. I'm really glad you're both moving on and I really want to see you try and surpass this marker in the finals! Great work both of you!
