Wolke: I really liked your art in this one! You went all out! Also fun writing as always.

Spooky: I enjoyed the panel layout of this one page, and your use of blacks and screentones. Nice job!

Wolke: ah, always more than one aspect to living. But everyone has their own ladder of priorities arranged differently.

spooky: if experimenting isn't working out there's always the old reliable. Amusing scenario!

The girls are...wait...no, it couldn't be, could it???

(I'm glad we both agree the rose garden columns were the optimal place for BL to string someone up in a web).

This comic gets a lot across in just one page - that both characters are in the situation at all is pretty funny since I took it to mean they somehow decided mid-fight to try some light bondage and biting play in the middle of a fighting tournament, which is pretty funny, and feels fitting to both. I got a kick out of SK's completely unflapped face throughout - it takes a butch of steel to be so unbothered by a humanoid monster tying you up and biting you with fangs the size of your fingers~

I like also that both characters are entirely on the same page throughout (assuming SK was in fact about to ask to be bitten) when the intimacy isn't working out, I guess some folks would just rather duke it out~~

Great job illustrating BL - tbh I think you got her heir even better than I did. I love her gleeful spider eyes in the last panel so much. Favorite panel though is the bite - the silhouetting of SK with the one eye blazing is really striking, and the intensity of that panel bolsters the comedic payoff of SK's blaise reaction. that immediately follows.

Also art-wise, I like how you juxtapose the webs and bondage scene with the roses - it's very shoujo, and whether that was what you were gunnign for or not, I really enjoy the effect.

Great stuff overall - Sigil was SUPER fun to write for, and I had a blast with round one :3

Oh you wanted to get dangerous with this one didn't you.
You wanted to kill me.
You wanted to kill us.
You wanted to hurt the heart that loves and only loves.
RGRGRGRG okay but that fucking panel with the bite in the neck was very funny and had some amazing framing to it, especially with the silhouette. if theres one thing with you that never misses its always the Paneling, and that moment is gonna stand out in the brain regardless.

The fucking joke about Sigil not being into being tied up - while surprising information - is very funny and i appreciate you going for it, GOD BLESS THE SAINT EATER

Prometheus

i have been, HOPING and PRAYING for babes and my good man you have rained them down upon my squishy little stupid fucking face. I was HOPING that this shit would get brutal at some point and by GOD HERSELF HAVE YOU DELIVERED!!!

The fucking hilarious twists with the internet and the backstabbing and the fucking EATING THAT BITCH ALIIIVEE???? AND CAUSING HER TO TRANSFORM???? JESUS CHRIST i was so excited i was blown away by that i frankly did NOT expect this outta Baddie Long-Legs but GOD I WAS HOPING FOR IT and,. yeah the comic was awesome and the colors and polish on display was somethin else man

An amusing little comic. I wish this was longer - not specifically because I thought you had a good joke and would have liked more, but because your panel layouts for this page you provided was really good! I would love to see something longer from from you in the future, because that's was really inventive and felt like it was shot straight out of the indies comics of the 80s. The joke was pretty good and I think you did some fun stuff with your blacks Sigil Killgore is someone I was excited to see more from and I still am. I hope you do more with them soon! Nice work!

Eric

Wow! What a really big surprise this one was. We don't have any issues with anyone doing anything with plenty of gore and violence, but its rare that we actually see that! So, this came out of left field and was super cool! I really loved how you handled the relationship and just sort of betrayal plot. I think you should consider playing with more of your inks in the future. While your markers are just okay currently, I think you would be better served by having better line-widths to play with. Perhaps different traditional media would be interesting to see as well. Brush pens or crow quills, perhaps?

Also, a small nitpick but I wasn't a fan of your interstitial text pages on 2, 9, and 13. I don't know if you intended to have art there and ran out of time or not, but I think you would have been better served if those pages were the same dimensions as the others. It just has a better presentation overall.

Overall, good comic! Probably one of the best ones I can think of seeing from you lately. Super job!

A very funny one pager! the different tones and visuals make for a really interesting read and you got alot going on with good use of conservative spacing! I do wish we could have gotten more on how we got to this snap shot of the moment in the fight and just a few more panels of the finish to the fight would go a long way! definitely feel like we missed a great lead up to this hilarious moment of the fight or a good sound ending to the battle sadly but you did display a nice tidbit of the two oc's that I found very humorous. I'm sad we didnt get to see Sigil transform though that form looks baller!

man! lol this one goes from 0-100 real quick lol! I especially enjoy the narration as it played out in my head to the sound of a national geographic episode lol the light hearted beginning works so well with your artstyle and definitely lured me in for what I thought was gonna be a silly romcom comic but then the you switched on the murder mode and really utilized your opponents OC's abilities to create a wonderfully gorey worst case scenerio for her powers while really highlighting how lethal longlegs is as a not a woman shaped like a spider but a spider in the shape of a femme fatale!

Piñata

Really enjoy the use of your silhouettes and spot blacks as I think the panel where longlegs injects her venom into Killgore's shoulder packs more of a punch than it would've otherwise if you just drew it out. The addition of the teeth was a nice haunting touch. All in all most of your composition on your page was really striking, which comes as no surprise. Despite it being one page, its nice to see an artist going all out to ensure all the bells and whistles are added into a stellar page. I definitely think others will read your side and be left wanting for more.

Piñata

If there's one thing to be said about your round 1 its that your character Baddie longlegs definitely didn't come here to play. This has gotta be the first utterly brutal face off comic we've gotten on the site and what a showing. Longlegs is savage, but you definitely have to be with an opponent like Killgore who can regenerate quickly. You had some really compelling angles- the reveal scene where Killgore comes to tangled up in longlegs' web was a nice dynamic angle. What really helps your comic, which you've exemplified time and again is your sense of pacing. The quotes, the black pages to offer a beat before we get back into the fray I think are the subtle touches not many people appreciate or think about when it comes to comics, but makes me happy you include.
