Ahh I see another victim of the deadly disease "life happen-itis" Nonetheless I really love what you've got here, You always have a great knack for comedic timing and artistic clarity with just byeeeotiful lineart, roughs too. Tembel's first line had me gigglin' and gaffin' hard a good exemplification of how entertaining this comic is as a whole, the banter and dialogue between Tembel and Marley, as well as every other character in this comic is frickin NOICE. Just written real Noice. You should be very happy with what you've submitted here.

Ok can we talk about your ink choices for this? How fun! Love the chunkiness of the brush pen you're using, to say nothing of the toothiness of the paper. So great to see some traditional work for this tourney. I'm not sure if this is more work for you or less, but I honestly would love to see more traditional work from you.
I also gotta admit as someone whose own sketch work is utter chicken scratch ,your penciling is super sharp here. I knew exactly what I was looking at and it didn't seem to skimp on detail which is really impressive. despite your opponent and her heavy storyline connotations, I love that you still managed to infuse your signature humor in small ways like her expressions or setting Tembel up for his innocent slapstick.
I'm bot certain if your ending was intended, but I think its funnier to end it on Marley requesting Tembel apeshit on children and they agree XD

I am glad you still turned in what you got. But yeah it's definitely a shame it wasn't finished in both art and story-wise. I enjoyed it nonetheless! It's honestly fascinating to look at your traditional sketches before the inks. They still look clear even with the use of blue pencils. I also thought you did everything digitally prior to this! The inks are also really nice. Overall, I can really tell you got something great going here. I just really wish I saw how the story ended. Either way, I am definitely looking forward to Tembel's next round. He's just too adorable.

Life seemed to have hit everyone but me this round, ouf. Are you inking with a sharpie or something? I absolutely love the way your lines look in this. I am not sure how you did it but they pop out of the page and when you get an entire page popping out like that it looks really great. It's unfinished but it is what it is, you've turned in and thats the most important part, I can only imagine how fresh this comic would look fully completed. Story wise its fun seeing Temble get put into the most unTemble situation but also feel so very Temble at the same time. Knowing their track record half of those orphans are there because of Temble antics. Great job, can't wait to see what Temble does in the Finale!

It's a shame you couldn't finish because it looks like you had an interesting idea going on here. You got some good inks from the more finished pages I'll be taking note of some of your techniques for backgrounds specifically. For what it's worth the plot you have of Tembel potentially uncovering a conspiracy of heaven's has me quite interested. I'm curious to see where this whole storyline is going.
